Attention Garden State ramen fans: Ani Ramen, the wildly popular noodle restaurant with locations in Jersey City and Montclair, will be opening two new outposts.
A third location of the acclaimed ramen house and bar will open in Summit (427 Springfield Avenue) this fall, according to a press release. It will feature Ani Ramen’s signature Japanese Ramen bowls, as well as bao buns, homemade crispy gyoza and other Japanese Izakaya small plates. (See menu here).
Looking ahead to 2019, Maplewood residents can expect to enjoy Ani Ramen right in the Village, at 149 Maplewood Avenue.
“We are very excited about adding Ani Ramen to the Maplewood food scene,” said Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca. “Our residents and visitors to our town will enjoy their ‘dining experience’ at Ani Ramen. We know the restaurant will be a great success.”
What makes Ani Ramen such a hit? According to the company’s website, the Ani team partnered with the renowned Sun Noodle company and tested hundreds of combinations of noodle, broth and other ingredients to come up with their ramen variations.
The restaurants are dine-in only, no take out (at least not for now), and reservations are only taken for large groups. Prepare to wait for your ramen — but most happy customers don’t seem to mind that one bit.
