Caroling and carriage rides

If you haven’t had an opportunity to go dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh yet, here’s your chance. In addition to strolling carolers and musicians, who will perform from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., carriage rides from Giardina Walkway, sponsored by the Somerville Business and Professional Association, are available from noon to 3 p.m.

A donation of $5 per person is suggested while children under 10 years of age are free.

Check-in begins at 3 p.m., and the race starts at 4 p.m. Don’t feel like running? Stop by and check out the assortment of reindeer and snowball sweaters that are sure to make you laugh.
