Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and the Citizens Committee of the Presby Memorial Iris Gardens invite the public to view an elaborate display of carved botanic, floral and Halloween themed pumpkins created by students at “Gardens Aglow” at the Essex County Presby Memorial Iris Gardens in Upper Montclair. Ten years ago, Montclair’s Wellmont Theater reopened as a live entertainment venue, and to celebrate, will host an “OkTENberfest” open house party on Saturday, October 27, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. To further commemorate this milestone, The Wellmont is releasing a portion of tickets for its remaining 2018 shows for just $10. OkTENberfest guests will enjoy food vendors, spirits tasting, a selection of more than 40 beers and brews, a photo booth provided by Little Nest Portraits, debut of new Wellmont merchandise, and the opportunity to see the historic venue up close with guided tours. The Lone Bellow’s third studio album, Walk Into A Storm, was released last fall on Descendant Records/Sony Music Masterworks. The album was produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell) and recorded in Nashville, TN. It’s been three years since the band’s victorious, Then Came The Morning was released. The album was produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner and nominated for an Americana Music Award. The Lone Bellow appeared on Kimmel, Letterman, Conan, CBS This Morning, Later…with Jools Holland and James Corden in support of the album.
