Comedian Ron White visits the State Theatre in New Brunswick on Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. Ron “Tater Salad” White, best known as the cigar smoking, scotch drinking funnyman from the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon, makes his return to The State with his new stand-up show. White has achieved three Grammy® nominations, a Gold Record, two of the top rated one-hour specials in Comedy Central history, a book that appeared on the New York Times Best Seller List, and CD and DVD sales of over 10 million units. Tickets start at $45.
The 2019 North Jersey Orchid Society Show and Sale is Friday January 18 through Sunday January 20, 2019 at the Douglass Student Center, Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ. The show is from 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday and Saturday and 9 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. The show features spectacular orchid exhibits showcasing plants grown in homes and greenhouses across the tri-state area as well as world-renown vendors. This show is partially funded by the Rutgers University Department of Plant Biology. Dr. Plant’s (Stephen Kotarski) exposé video clip from the 2018 Orchid Show at Rutgers.
