Memorial Day – Monday, May 28 – is a day to remember and honor those who served our country. To commemorate this special occasion, towns throughout the Garden State are holding parades and ceremonies to pay tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Bradley Beach Memorial Day Celebration May 25-28

The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at the Fifth Avenue Gazebo (weather permitting) on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 am. In the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to the Bradley Beach Fire House, 815 Rear Main Street. Don’t miss events all weekend long.

Clark Memorial Day Parade Starts at 9 a.m.

Line up begins at the Community Center, 220Walnut Ave in Cranford at 8:30 a.m. and marching commences at 9:00 a.m. ending with a traditional memorial ceremony at Memorial Park on Springfield Avenue between RiversideDrive and Central Avenue at 10:00 a.m.

Livingston Memorial Day Parade

This year’s Memorial Day Parade will start at with a ceremonial service at the Oval to commemorate those who have died defending the United States. At 10 am after the ceremony, the parade will start at Memorial Oval and proceed down Livingston Ave. until it ends at Congressional Parkway.

Maplewood Memorial Day Parade Starts at 9 a.m.

Steps off at 9 a.m. sharp from West Parker Street Route: West Parker to Maplewood Ave. to Baker St. to Valley St. Ceremony immediately following the parade at Town Hall Plaza Members of the Maplewood VFW Post 10120 will lead the parade, joined by the Maplewood Township Committee and Columbia High School Marching Band, along with civic groups, schools, neighborhood associations and others.

Immediately following the parade is the 20th Annual Memorial Day Duck Race, sponsored by the South Mountain YMCA, at Memorial Park (Oakview Rd). Join hundreds of locals to cheer your ducks to victory! Fun for the whole family, all proceeds go to local charities.

Montclair Memorial Day Service

Montclair Township will hold its annual Memorial Day tribute on Monday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m. in Edgemont Park. Mayor Robert Jackson will be Master of Ceremonies and Township Historian Michael Farrelly will be this year’s speaker. Mr. Farrelly will reflect on Montclair’s 150-year history, as the Township celebrates its sesquicentennial.

Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade Held May 26 Starts at 9:30 a.m.

Morris Plains Memorial Day parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 near the intersection of Glenbrook Road and Mountain Way.

New Providence Memorial Day Parade Starts at 10 a.m.

 New Providence remembers the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in this country’s armed forces. The parade kicks off at 10 AM along Springfield Avenue between Central Avenue and Academy Street.

Nutley Memorial Day Parade

Join us at the 9th annual Memorial Day parade at the Nutley Park Oval starting at 10 a.m.

Pennington Memorial Day Parade, Bike Brigade, & Concert Starts at 11 a.m.

Memorial Day Parade: Main Street 10am line-up 11am start, Monday, May 28

Rockaway Memorial Day Parade Starts at 11 a.m.

Monday, May 28, 11 a.m. – The Rockaway, Marcella and Denville Memorial Association will hold the Memorial Day parade beginning at the corner of Beach and East Main Streets and proceed to the Civil War monument at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Sayreville Memorial Day Parade Starts at 10 a.m.

All service men & women are invited to march in the parade.

Verona Memorial Day Parade

The Verona Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. The parade will begin at Everett Field on Bloomfield Avenue and conclude at the Civic Center.

Wyckoff Memorial Day Commemorations

Wykoff commemorates Memorial Day with a morning of events honoring those who served our country and especially those who gave their lives to ensure our freedom beginning with a 9am: Firefighter’s Memorial Service behind town hall.

Wood-Ridge Memorial Day Parade

Come join us and show your respect and support to the various military service men and women who have, and still protect this free country of ours at our Annual Wood-Ridge Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Services will begin at the Senior Center’s Veteran’s Walk of Freedom starting at 10:00 a.m. with the parade following at 11:30 a.m. from the same location.

West Orange Memorial Day Ceremony

The Township Of West Orange Mayor’s Office, .VFW Post 376, and The WOHS Mountaineer Squadron Air Force Junior ROTC invite you to the 2018 West Orange Memorial Day Observance at Town Hall (66 Main St). The ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
