Rock Band Yes Celebrates 50th Anniversary at Montclair’s Wellmont Theater July 7




Progressive rock band, Yes, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this summer with a 35-date tour of the U.S. that will stop at Montclair’s historic Wellmont Theater on Saturday, July 7th, 2018.

Formed in London in 1968, Yes, has been creating hits like “Owner of a Lonely Heart” and “Roundabout” for decades. The Grammy award-winning band is one of the most successful, influential, and longest-lasting progressive rock bands ever selling 13.5 million RIAA-certified albums in the U.S. In April 2017, Yes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which chose to specifically bestow the honor upon current and former members.

YES’s current touring line-up consists of Jon Davison (vocals), Steve Howe (guitar), Alan White (drums & percussion), Geoff Downes (keyboards) and Billy Sherwood (bass).

Guesting on the current tour to add additional drums is Steve Howe’s son, Dylan Howe.
