The Marketplace, Offering Eco-Friendly Dining, Opens at Camden’s Adventure Aquarium

The Marketplace, an all-new eco-friendly dining experience located inside Camden’s Adventure Aquarium, is open and ready to serve hungry visitors.

Featuring an open concept kitchen with a sleek and modern design accompanied by warm, rustic touches, the new eatery offers made-to-grill favorites like juicy burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, Baja grilled fish tacos, and other seasonal fare served hot off the grill. Grab wrap salads and sandwiches at the deli station, or pick up some pizza. Hershey ice cream and Dippin’ Dots provide a sweet ending to your meal.

Families and friends can gather in the enhanced seating area and enjoy their meal together.

In addition to locally-sourcing ingredients, the Marketplace is committed to the environment by helping combat plastics from entering the ocean through sustainable practices like composting and recycling.

The following are other “green choices that lead to blue oceans” that the Marketplace will implementing, according to its website:

Seafood Watch – A program that helps consumers and businesses choose seafood that’s fished or farmed in ways that support a healthy ocean, now and for future generations.

Compostable Products – Compostable PLA plastic, plant-based straws and compostable sugar cane plates and bowls, along with PETE Recyclable plastic cups and lids, cutlery and salad containers will be used in the new Marketplace.

Ambrogi – Seasonal, locally-sourced produce from Ambrogi, which is 80% locally grown in New Jersey will be used in the food offerings.
