They’ll tour the world. But they’ll also be touring at home.
Bon Jovi announced they’ll be playing two shows at the Prudential Center in Newark on April 7 and 8, 2018.
Presale for tickets through Live Nation will start at 10:00 a.m. on January 18 for their “This House Is Not For Sale” tour. Beginning January 19, the general public can purchase tickets through ticketmaster.com.
It’ll be a busy year for Jon Bon Jovi and company. The band will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the April 14 ceremony at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland. They’ll be honored alongside The Cars, Dire Straits, Moody Blues, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharp.
It’s been almost five years since they headed to the Garden State on such a large tour. In 2013, they played two dates at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
However, on October 1, 2016, they played their album “This House Is Not For Sale” in a live performance at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank. “This is a record about our integrity,” said Jon Bon Jovi during that show. “This is a record about our rebirth, this is a record about life, love, loss and all the sweat that went in between.”
