Celebrate National Marina Day-Pirate Spirit on Saturday, June 9 at 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Leonardo State Marina. Join us for a FREE family day of fun and show your pirate spirit! Lots of activities for everyone! Find treasure at our flea market and take a paddle on the bay! Dress as your favorite pirate and walk the plank in our pirate parade! Prizes awarded for age groups 0-5 yrs old, 6-10 yrs old, 11-15 yrs old & 16 and up! Visit our Nature Center and learn about the animals, watch a live snake feeding, free crafts and more! Morey’s Pier Beach Bop Is Set for  Saturday, June 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. One-day scouting event designed for younger scouts – Cub Scouts, Brownies and Daisies – Beach Bop offers a full day of Morey’s Piers fun! Mark your calendar for our seventh annual event Cape May Craft Beer & Crab Festival on Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come to the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate for an all-day festival featuring local and regional craft beers to wash down favorite summer foods … steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, shrimp and hot dogs, as well as food from regional vendors. The 2018 Cape May Boardwalk Craft Show will be held on June 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come out and shop the awesome items from handmade vendors. There will be lots of crafters offering everything from jewelry to leather goods, from fashion and accessories to water colors. Free admission.

Asbury Park Promenade of Mermaids takes place June 30. Mermaids, mermen, pirates, sailors and all sea creatures are welcome to join us as we promenade down the boards. We encourage wearing all things mermaid and nautical although its not required. Its a family-friendly day of FIN! Promenade begins at Noon. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume for both adults and children as well as other categories.

Beachstock 2018 returns to the Margate Beach Saturday, June 30 with new activities, new music and new performances.  Children and adults can learn to limbo and hula with professional dancers from the South Pacific Island Dancers and unwind with Yoga presented by the Milton and Betty Katz Jewish Community Center. New musical attractions at the eighth annual installment of this 14-hour event include non-stop music on the 100.7 WZXL main stage by Matt Santry, DJ Jason E and The British Invasion Experience. Food is a highlight at Beachstock where guests can enjoy a wide variety of mouth watering fare. Returning this year, is the volleyball and lifeguard competitions, vendors, local retailers, sand sculpting lessons, tow at demonstrations, Stacey’s Surf lessons, free skin checks by Dr. Carroccia, Margate Fire Departments Cool Blast, Kid’s Treasure Hunt, face painting by Alissa, beer and margarita garden and, at dusk, a bonfire and a family friendly movie. No beach tags are required for the event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and stretches between the Huntington and Granville Ave. beaches behind the Margate Public Library.
