Looking for a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your littlest loved ones? There are plenty cool events throughout New Jersey that help make the holiday special for all ages. Whether you enjoy sampling chocolate confections made by local vendors or taking in a live performance where romance blossoms, the Garden State features plenty of tempting offerings.

From tasty treats to fairy tale endings, check out this list of all the ways you and your family can share the love this February.

Chocolate Walk – Bordentown

You can’t imagine a sweeter evening.

Stop by the Downtown Bordentown Association tent at 223 Farnsworth Ave. to purchase* (or pick up) your Chocolate Walk Passport listing all participating businesses. Online passport sales close at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9th. The walk begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

(NOTE: Passports purchased in advance online will not be mailed, they must be picked up at the event tent during the event.)

Stroll around town visiting shops and restaurants and receive a chocolate treat and a stamp on your passport. Then, return your completed passport to the DBA tent for a chance to win prizes. Visitors can stop back to the DBA tent throughout the evening with a receipt of $20 or more from any Bordentown City business to play Spin-the-Wheel for a chance to win additional prizes!

Your $5 goes to support the Downtown Bordentown Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Bordentown City as a great place to live, work, dine, shop and have fun—all within a peaceful, historic setting. This event is rain or shine. (Sorry, no refunds.)

Family Date Night at Jenkinson’s Aquarium – Pt. Pleasant

Enjoy the aquarium or visit the sweet shop.

Just because it’s winter, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the Jenkinson’s Aquarium. From 6 to 9 p.m. on both Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10, the Pt. Pleasant mainstay offers a tempting deal that’s hard to resist:  The $54.95 Package includes: Admission for (4) to Jenkinson’s Aquarium, a plain pizza, pitcher of soda at the pavilion,a $10 PlayCard for the Pavilion Arcade and four treats from the Sweet Shop. Have a party of more than 4? Cinderella – New Brunswick

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella , the Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical from the creators of The Sound of Music and South Pacific that’s delighting audiences with its contemporary take on the classic tale, is coming to The State Theatre in New Brunswick Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This lush production features an incredible orchestra, jaw-dropping transformations, and all the moments you love—the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball, and more—plus some surprising new twists!

Chocolate Day – Morristown

The Morris Museum continues its annual tradition of hosting a Family Day inspired by chocolate on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Museum Members enjoy early access at 10 a.m.) Create a beautiful craft,
meet chocolate vendors from around Morris County, learn more about chocolate, enjoy

Sleeping Beauty – Princeton

The State Ballet Theatre of Russia brings Sleeping Beauty back to life on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. at the McCarter Theatre.

This 40-member troupe from the Russian city of Voronezh returns with one of ballet’s classics, Sleeping Beauty, the timeless fairy tale set to the familiar Tchaikovsky score. The traditional Petipa choreography tells the age-old story of the sleeping Princess Aurora and the handsome prince who awakens her with a kiss.

Tickets start at $58.50.

Frozen in Ice – Augusta

Frozen in Ice is open select dates from January 27–February 25.

Keep your cool this Valentine’s Day at Skylands Stadium Ice Sculpture Extravaganza featuring an interactive Wild West theme. This family-friendly indoor/outdoor event runs through Feb. 25. Check Skylands calendar for hours by day and then check out more than 100 tons of ice transformed into breathtaking displays by the amazing ice artists at Sculpted Ice Works. Frozen in Ice is sure to thrill both adults and children, and offers plenty of great photo opps. You can enjoy hot food and beverages, s’mores for roasting, carnival games, shopping, and more.
