Trans-Siberian Orchestra Brings ‘Prog-Rock’ Christmas to The Rock December 26

Lasers, pyrotechnics and “prog-rock” may not be what comes to mind when you think of a Christmas concert.

But the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has been delivering just that to sold-out arenas since its formation in 1996.

Now it’s impossible to escape TSO’s thundering version of “Carol of the Bells” each holiday season (catch the latest Kia Sorento ad featuring TSO’s rendition of the tune here). And who would want to? Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s over-the-top orchestrations and performances are just what Santa ordered.

On a more serious note, TSO has faced terrible losses with the deaths of founder Paul O-Neill and bassist David Z earlier this year, but the orchestra is carrying on its mission and will deliver a new show at The Prudential Center in Newark this December 26 with a completely updated presentation of its unforgettable “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.”

Trans-Siberian Orchestra will play two performances at The Prudential Center in Newark on December 26, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
