Fourth Annual Collision of Inspirational Ideas is back with new timing and venue.
SouthNEXT, New Jersey’s festival that explores our similarities by celebrating our differences, returns to the iconic South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) November 10 and for the first time, at Seton Hall University’s Theater in the Round at the University Center on Sunday November 11. The program runs from 12:00-6:00 p.m. on both days.
Once again, SouthNEXT delivers with another spectacular lineup of talent and engaging sessions. Festival founder and South Orange Village Trustee Stephen Schnall is excited about the 2018 themes of exploring technology and mindfulness, productivity and purpose.
“Each year SouthNEXT brings together local artists, speakers, and performers to catalyze the kind of “creative collisions” that spark new ideas and inspire new solutions to some of the most pressing communal challenges of our times,” says Schnall.
Featured sessions at this year’s SouthNEXT include:
- Reclaiming the Purpose of Humanity in the Age of Machines
- Arousal and Engagement in the Time of Fitbit
- Magic, Leadership and Transcendence
- Interactive Art Mural to be created by the community
- Intergenerational Jeopardy!
- Technology in Music over the last 50 years – Boon or Bane?
“I’ve come to expect to see my neighbors offer up entertaining sessions with a whole new twist, that I wouldn’t see anywhere else” says a past year’s attendee.
RWJ/Saint Barnabas Medical Center is proud to return as SouthNEXT’s Lead Sponsor and is joined by Premier Sponsor Seton Hall University, and Local Sponsors South Orange Village, Stop&Shop, and the South Orange Performing Art Center (SOPAC).
Your ticket to over a dozen performances and engaging panels and discussions is the SouthNEXT all-access wristband.
