From Downtown Cranford: It’s back, the biggest downtown event of the year! The 12th Annual Scarecrow Stroll will take place Oct. 16 – 31, with the Night Stroll scheduled for Oct. 18. From The Red Mill Museum Village: Set in a historical wool mill from 1810 that now hosts a museum, the Haunted Village has been providing scares to tri-state residents for 29 years. The mill is transformed into 3 stories of twists and turns, never knowing what kind of ghouls and zombies you’ll encounter with your next step. The theme of this year’s Haunted Village is Run for Your Life! The Haunted Village is family fun for people of all ages. From Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari: Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including seven haunted mazes and five scare zones located throughout the park. The stuff of nightmares lurk around every corner as the dark of night washes over the park. The ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals. More information.

From Summit Community Programs: We dare you to venture into the night and join us for some haunting-ly good entertainment and ghoulish goodies at Scream on the Green, a scary spin-off of our summer movie series. Featured movie: Scooby Do Monsters Unleashed. Before the movie, get moving during the Monster Mash Dance Party or warm up around the bonfire with some free S’Mores! Swapping ghost stories is encouraged. As always, movie-goers will be able to pick up a grab and go dinner from the featured food truck. Rain Date: October 25. More information.  

From Psycho Trail: Come celebrate Halloween by getting spooked at this home haunt. Admission is free but donations are gladly accepted and go towards The Unforgotten Haven, which helps those who are less fortunate. More information.

From Sea Isle City NJ: The parade will feature live music, strolling entertainers, floats, local organizations and many well-costumed participants will appear. The deadline to register for the Halloween Parade is Wednesday, October 16. The Halloween Family Dance Party and Awards Ceremony will take place at the Excursion Park Band Shell immediately after the parade. The free Dance Party will be led by D.J. Jeff, who will keep “spirits” high and delight families with seasonal music and popular dance favorites. More information.

From Farm of Horrors: Spend 45 minutes making your way through 200+ acres of Fright. It starts with our Hair Raising Hayride that “Scares the YELL out of You”, then we let you off in the middle of nowhere for a Treacherous Trek through the “Trail of Terror.” Then, just when you think you have had enough and begin see that you are almost home, you realize the only way back is through the MassAcre Maize, a Casual Run for your Life. Once it is over you find that the path is blocked, and you must enter your final Nightmare, the Carnevil of Chaos! More information.
