From West Orange Classic Film Festival: The West Orange Film Society hosts the 15th annual West Orange Classic Film Festival from Sunday, January 5, 2020 to February 23, 2020 at 2pm at the AMC DINE-IN Essex Green 9 Theatre in West Orange. West Orange Arts Council Members receive a 25% ticket discount to WO Classic Film Festival movies. Cost depends on movie. From Somerset County Park Commission: Horse Care Workshops 101 and 103 will be held at Lord Stirling Stable, 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge, New Jersey beginning Saturday, January 4, 2020 (providing weather does not delay currently running programs). Classes will meet for 5 consecutive Saturdays. Workshop 103 will meet from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and Workshop 101 will meet from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Students in Workshop 101 will learn the basics of “horsekeeping” in a hands-on course taught by Stable staff. Workshop 103 will further develop care and management skills while increasing knowledge of equine behavior. Workshop 101 is a pre- or co-requisite for 103. The classes may be taken concurrently. There is no riding involved in either program. More information.
